As a board-certified subspecialized cardiothoracic radiologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to advancing the frontier of risk stratification and diagnosis in cardiovascular and thoracic care. Growing up in a medical family that emphasized practical care delivery, I was naturally drawn to the essential importance of disease treatment and prevention in cardiothoracic surgery and cardiovascular care. I have a lifelong chronic illness so I can sympathize and empathize with patients who are being delivered news they were not expecting.

I specialize in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular disease and lung cancer, two of the leading causes of death in the United States. With more than 10 years of experience, I have honed my expertise in using advanced non-invasive imaging techniques such as coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA), cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and lung cancer screening computed tomography (CT). These tools are crucial in early detection and accurate diagnosis, enabling effective treatment and follow-up for conditions like coronary artery disease and early-stage lung cancer. My work focuses on leveraging these technologies to improve patient outcomes and reduce unnecessary deaths related to these illnesses.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about proactive healthcare engagement and developing innovative diagnostic tools. My research and clinical practice are centered on enhancing risk stratification and prognostic indicators using advanced imaging techniques. By continuously refining these methods, I aim to provide patients with the most reliable and accurate diagnoses, ultimately improving their quality of life and long-term health.
